Johannes Brahms was born in Hamburg, Germany on May 7, 1833. He was the son of Johann Jakob Brahms Johanna Henrika Christiane Nissen. He was born into the Lutheran family, which formed Lutheranism. Lutheranism is a major branch of Protestant Christianity, the Luthers made major efforts to reform the theology and practice of the Catholic Church launched Protestant Reformation. Johannes Brahms spent most of his life in Vienna, Austria. He grew up to be a brilliant composer and pianist. He died April 3, 1897 Zentralfriedhof Cemetery in Vienna, Austria.

Some of Johannes’ major compositions include Hungarian Dances, A German Requiem Wiegenlied (Brahms’ Lullaby), Violin Concerto, Piano Concerto No. 1 in D Minor, Brahms Symphony 1, Violin Concerto
