On August 9th, 2014, Michael Brown and his friend Dorian Johnson were walking in the middle of the street when they were approached by a police officer by the name of Darren Wilson. With there being altered stories explaining what happened next rather than choosing one side of the story we can agree that an altercation occurred and it led to the unfortunate death of eighteen year old Michael Brown. Because of the differing stories and videos online, I will not focus on whether I feel like the killing of Michael Brown was justified, but whether the process to indict/or not to indict Officer Darren Wilson was justified and not flawed. Beginning as soon as you read the table of contents of the DOJ report on the Ferguson Police Department…

ed he “would rather die a thousand deaths” than surrender to Grant (Winik 168). Plus, when you take into consideration that the Confederate president, Jefferson Davis, had already supported the idea of guerilla warfare, it is obvious that Alexander’s plan was a tempting option from Lee’s point of view. Even with all the benefits guerilla warfare would have had for Lee, he still decided against it, largely due to his sense of duty to the country. Lee was the hero of the Confederates, and had he accepted the idea of guerilla warfare, many others resisting the Union would have followed him.…

Chandler’s arguments focused on sizing of companies with given examples whereas, Schumacher’s arguments focused on population sizes in certain cities and countries. Chandler’s arguments were more compelling given that they compared in an investment sense how companies grew since world war II. Although there was some contradiction there was clear reasons as to why companies either grew or failed. For example, Chrysler, Ford and General Motor transportation companies were compared, Ford Motors was relatively interesting how they failed and then grew into one of the three major vehicle manufacturers. Schumacher’s ideas were based on how a city is developed in retrospect to population sizes.…

Nora Helmer could be argued to be the “Doll” in the play “A Doll’s House” by Henrik Ibsen. She was spoiled by her father while growing up and now by her husband Torvald which, at first leads Nora to have a lack of reality and a sense of immaturity with childish tendencies and a lack of understanding the law. We watch how Nora slowly begins to learn how to think like an adult and become independent as the play unfolds. Her interactions with the members of the cast proves how much of an unrealistic view Nora has on her actions. Nora was sheltered her entire life and which can only lead to the question if she will be able to fend for herself and learn what it is to be a responsible adult.…
