A lot has happened since debra has disappeared from the eyes of Joey Quinn. Some would describe Joey Quinn as the “Dirty Cop” that works for Miami Metro Police Department. Debra Morgan was his lover you could say , but in a complicated relationship when daily you're catching bad guys.
Joey always thought there was something shady with Dexter, but seeing how important Debra was he let it slide. Yet he always noticed Debra acting diffrent , scared , not herself. The change in the way she would her talk about how Dexter was such a perfect brother. It made Joey bring back the suspense that something was not right.
One day Joey was at work and went back to a few cases from the trinity killings and saw the pictures of the man “Kyle Butler” was actually Dexter but with a different name. Quinn noticed that the pictures were very similar , so then he compared both pictures by folding them in half and realized it looked like Dexter.

Dexter was that person that seemed way too normal and with Debra disappearance it just made Joey think that she was dead or maybe she magically woke up from the trauma. Just when he finally realized that after 30 years of being alive his number one suspect was always Dexter. He made a list of all the “perfect” things Dexter would always so like a clean freak, always at the crime scene somewhat fast, his knowledge on how someone was murdered and the mistakes of the killings. You could say Dexter was obsessed with the murders. One thought came to mind “What if he is a serial killer” but he laughed it off.
