Joe's Farm Character Analysis

Shane
In Jack Schaefer’s short novel Shane it's about well a man named shane as it might imply. Every character in Joe’s Farm is selfless in their own way. This novel is an unforgettable adventure from front to back. Personally my favorite part is when Shane meets Jr. and Jr. has a unloaded gun and Shane’s reflexes kick in and he pulls out his gun and then Joe sorts everything out the reason I like this scene so much is because Shane thinks someone would give their like 10 year old kid a gun.

Joe
I see Joe as so self less is he went into a saloon to save Shane when Shane was in trouble Joe came to his beck and call. Another reason Joe is so selfless is when Maryin wants to leave him for shane he understood that he thought if this man will

The events that happened throughout the story caused the decisions that were made by Wes, and shape his character. This provides insight into the complex person and character that Wes Hayden is. Reactions: It is unfair of Fletcher and his boys to be trying to have everyone living in their valley to leave just because Fletcher wants more land. Everyone who lives in the valley acquired their land through their own work and should not have to give it up just because it would benefit one person. It is also aggravating that all Chris does is try to annoy all of the homesteaders into leaving. Chris definitely deserved what Shane did to him, but it shows the ways in which Shane has been changing since he arrived at the Starrett house. Questions: Why did Shane become tense when he was showing Bob how to maneuver his gun?…
