II. Body I A. Main Point I: Who is Jodi and Travis? According to ABC News, Jodi Arias is a quiet and softspoken 32 year old woman. She was always known as a normal sweet girl. She had a steady hobby as a photographer. She dropped out of high school in the 11th grade and recieved her GED while in jail. Travis Alexander was a successful salesman and motivational speaker who in his earlier ages had drug addicted parents and was homeless from time to time. Later his grandmother took him in where he was able to turn his life around. Close friend Dave Hall says "He actually had everything going for him. A beautiful home, a beautiful car, and a great income."

B. Main Point II: Their relationship Jodi and Travis met in September of 2006 at a Prepaid Legal Services conference where Travis worked. They immediately had a connection. Just days after the two met, Jodi broke up with her boyfriend of four years whom she lived with and began having a physical relationship with Travis. They began dating in February 2007 and just after a few months Travis tried to end the relationship with her in June 2007.
