Job Shadow Research Paper

Have you ever wonder what it was like to see the inside of a court room? Or to defend a client? I wonder the same things for a while to . So for my job shadow experience I chose Troy, Civil Court Center. I went with my mother to meet a nice young lady named Julie Dufrane. Mrs. Julie was one of the courts Civil Attorney. She had told me that we would be sitting in on a couple of her cases at the court that day. Mrs. Julie deals with only city case like , drug abuse or tickets things of that natural.
Julie Dufrane's day normally starts with her attire which has to be professional. Then, she has to get all her cases together that she must pass out and represent that day . She goes to her assigned court room, where she will be presenting all her cases for the evening. She is the representative of the people which is Troy Court. If she is content with the case , she would say " The people are Pleased." If not. Then she would provide evidence as to why she isn't. She also has clients who have to wait in line for their representative and she must have the case ready for them to go over as they are waiting for their case to be called by the judge.his job requires intense night and day commitment, with longer hours of reading and paper work. The most interesting part about this job is the verdict of the case. I say this because you never now what the judge may decide , all you can do is ready the case carefully and make sure your client isn't holding anything from you. I enjoyed the experience of watching a Civil case, however I didn’t enjoy how much paper work Mrs. Julie had to complete. She became quit frustrated when all her case work became disorganized because of her shuffling through it so much.I wouldn’t enter this career because I have no interest in this line of work. Also I wouldn’t like being in a office building or court room for most of the day just doing paper work

Larger firms can employ several attorneys, each with an area of specialization and needing their own team of paralegals. This is a great environment for the paralegal that works best in a team atmosphere and excels in a specific aspect of the position. Whereas each type of office has the same tasks on a day-to-day basis, a paralegal is part of a bigger paralegal pool and may be asked to focus on only one case at a time or simply one type of task for many cases. There may be days, weeks, or even months of research for one case, or the sometimes mundane task drafting documents to file with the court.…

After seeing this, other lawyers, who were not working on the case and were not required to remain, stayed late to help. This formed a team structure that Andrea is incredibly proud of. if there is one thing college has taught me, it is that it does not matter what you think you are going to become, or how far back you start from, but it is that determination in the place of those disadvantages is what makes all the difference. I did not choose to be a lawyer because anyone in my family was, in fact, no one in my family worked anything close to it. My mother has worked as a waitress, a seamstress in a factory, and finally as a baker since arriving in this country. I took it upon myself to try and become something more, something that my mother did not have the opportunity to be. As the oldest child in a house of three I fulfilled the function of the interpreter in the family, which gave me the sense of responsibility and maturity that came with that role.…

Since I was doing a project on Probation Supervised Youth I mentioned the crossover youth and she told me that it was the wrong term and I should be using dually involved youth, which helped for the assignment. During the small break while waiting for another case, Ramona and I made plans to come back and meet at the courthouse Thursday at 8:30am, so I could experience the North Wing which is the criminal side of the courthouse. We were in the East Wing in room 822. Also the Judge invited us to come back and watch more at 9:30am for dependency court hearings.…

We believe that a Limited Liability Company (LLC) is the best entity structure for partnerships. It is often regarded as a hybrid business structure as it mergers the protection of a corporation with the tax benefits and relative administrative simplicity of a partnership. For these reasons, it is considered an ideal business form for most small to mid-sized businesses with multiple owners. If partners do not form a business entity when they begin doing business, they are deemed to be a General Partnership, whether or not they have a formal written agreement.…
