Whether communication is through writing, visual, non-verbally or vocal. Without communication, we would not be able to express ourselves to others or even communicate. The goal of communication is to transmit a message across to the audience. When speaking, the message should be clear so it doesn 't leave a customer or employee in doubt. For, example the manager may ask for a copy of an expense report due to the employee not listening they hear coffee and bring the incorrect item. In particular, cases like such it is best to ask questions like, "I 'm sorry can you repeat that again" it will help you understand what they really need. Although, scenarios vary depending on how horrible the miscommunication was it can create conflict and perhaps enable the customer to come back. Communication is successful when both receiver and sender have understood the message. Being responsible and getting to work on time, coming every day, and ready to work is a skill that all employers desire. When demonstrating this skill employers know that they can count on you for anything. They know you can get the job done and want let them down. This can be successful towards the employee because it can increase their chances in moving up the ladder.
