A job that I find most interesting is a Software Developer, specifically video game designing. This job has a variety of tasks, creating storylines, characters, gameplay prototypes, along with collaborating with artists to create a visual style. This type of job allows for a variety of opportunities for employment; the obvious is working in a gaming studio, but an individual can also explore options in advertising and design firms, web design, multimedia companies or software development companies. This job has a variety of tasks which include knowledge of technology, as well as information about the business they are going to design the system for. They need to understand the organization and research how the organization plans to use the technology. I know that the job would always be changing but spending an extensive amount of time learning about various companies to design the system does not interest me. Not only do they complete research they need to prepare a cost and benefits analysis to present to the company. If the system is approved, the Computer Analyst will oversee the installation of the new system and resolve any issues that arise. This job appears to be more research and less hands on developing of the program, which is not how I want to spend the majority of my time.
