Wow! I can’t believe I’m here at Job Corps and I can really see my life changing. I can feel myself turning around. It feels like someone caught me and kept me from falling. Every since the accident on August, Twenty Fifth, Twenty Fifteen mu life jas been changing. That day was like no other day to me. But little did I know my like was about to change. There was this convient store down the street from my house that my brothers and I would go to some nights. Well, on this particular night of August 25th on a late night tip we decided to walk to the store and pick up some snacks and other things that would last through the night. I’m still laying there thinking like crazy while everyone around me trying to get me to talk which I couldn’t do because I was in shock from the event that just happened, next I kept dozing off from the loss of blood I was losing from getting hit at that point the emergency team was cutting open my shirt to see further injuries that I had, soon as they figured out what condition I was in they took me in the back of the ambulance and took me to the hospital where the doctors took a look at me. Once again I dozed off but this time it was hours after I wake up and noticed my father was in the room with me waiting for me to wake up, I asked him “what happened why I’m here” he told me that ‘’ I got hit by a car trying to get away from a robber” then after he told me that I was thinking about all the bad I was doing after the accident, from that day on for me and my family I was going to change my life around. Therefor two months later I came out the hospital feeling like a changed person since that night I decided to come to job corps to change my life around, I even told my father I was going to make a better future for myself and pursue my education and a long term career.
