Jj's Development In 6 Years Old

Since J.J is only 6 months old I was not expecting her to do much. According to an article titled Preemie Milestones on the website healthychildren when it comes to preemies and their development you should adjust their age to get a real sense of where they are developmental wise. For instance, since J.J is 26 weeks old, but was born 13 weeks early, subtract 13 from 26. This gives you 13 weeks. So, although J.J’s age is 6 months old, developmental wise it is if she is actually 3 months old. It was clear that developmental wise physically J.J is behind weighing only 11 pounds and being 22.5 inches long. A normal 6 month old girl usually weighs around 16 pounds and is 24 inches tall (Papalia, 106). So, J.J is not too far behind but is definitely
