Jiu Jitsu Monologue

Once upon a time there was a girl who was eleven or twelve years old.Her dad came home from work one day and started talking about this martial art called jiu jitsu that he heard about from his friend at work. He thought it was something that they,including her brother, should try, so she said OK, why not. So the next day He took them to this gym in Peoria next to One World restaurant over by Bradley, and the gym is called Peoria Athletic Club.

The girl saw that they had all kinds of stuff there like muay thai kickboxing,boxing,Brazilian jiu jitsu, and mixed martial arts. So the girls dad signed her,her brother,and himself up for Brazilian jiu jitsu classes. Know you must know that the girl was a very shy person who was bullied a lot in school when she was younger ,and didn't have much friends because of that. The girl now knows that her father did that so she wouldn't be shy and would make friends and learn how to defend herself, which now the girl is a high ranking belt in her kids class and spares with adults in her adult class.

And what the girl loved and still loves is that she could do it with her family so it made her feel less shy and insecure about herself. When the girl was about a year into jiu jitsu,feeling pretty good about herself,she meet another girl named Veronica,who is know her best friend. What the girl really liked was that she was finally good enough at something that she could teach someone else what she
