Jimin's Narrative

The minutes turned to hours as Jimin twisted his mind to reveal even the smallest details and ideas about what he could use Yoongi for.

First off was his initial plan, revolving around manipulation, just as his lifestyle did as well. He could also play the game of innocence, pretending to essentially become the personal therapist of Yoongi and let him vent out all of his life's secrets after gaining the man's trust. For now though, he'd stick to winging whatever plan could develop after the odd turn of events.

Sleep was minimal on the first night. With another person in his house, Jimin found it difficult to sleep. From all the precautions he took in the first place, he didn't like the idea of simply allowing Yoongi out of his

Yoongi leaned back against the couch, eyes wandering around the room in questioning.

"It's back at my apartment in my room, under my bed." A common place to keep things like that. Jimin kept two under his bed.

"You'll need that. I'll get that for you." Yoongi gave him a questioning look.

The walk from his house to Yoongi's apartment was only around ten minutes, but it felt like forever in the blazing heat. Man, if only he used a car.

Arriving in front of the building, he walked to the front door of Yoongi's apartment, remembering the number being 104. Knocking, he listened for any footsteps of someone inside, and when none sounded, he opened the door to the apartment and entered, shutting it behind him.

The first thing that Jimin noticed was the fish tank, blazing blue and white. Taking small steps towards it, Jimin knelt down in the hallway, face inches away from the glass tank as he watched the two beta fish, separate as always. It looked like they had been fed, so he payed them no attention and went into Yoongi's room, staring at the bed. Well, at least it wasn't bloody anymore.

Kneeling down onto the ground, he looked under the bed, revealing a black bag that had some weight to it. Dragging it out, he hoisted the heavy bag onto the bed, staring down at it.

Driving west from New York City is a surreal experience. I went from the busy streets of Brooklyn to skyscrapers in Manhattan, to the suburbs of the outlying towns over the bridges. The climate was snowy in the winter by Lake Ontario, but some New Yorkers go there during the summer, if they can’t afford to go to the Hamptons at the tip of Long Island.…
