Jim Halpert has all the characteristics of a conventional hero. He is self-sacrificing, appreciated, and acts for the good of all throughout the entire show. Our culture views conventional heroes like Jim as the ideal man you want in your life, you want someone who is patient and self- sacrificing to go through life with.
