Jim Carrey is one of the best comedians of our time. He has been in many amazing movies and has made many people laugh. He is now an extremely famous and popular comedian but he was not always this successful he had a very humble start. Jim Carrey although now a famous comedian he started just like anybody else. Jim Carrey grew up in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada; he was born on January 17, 1962 (Biography.com). Carrey got his start at a stand up spot in a club in Toronto (biography.com). In 1978, he had gotten a job as a janitor in a factory to help support his family, but he left it in 1979(Biography.com). By 1983, Carrey was heading west towards Hollywood where he landed his first movie role in a movie called Introducing…Janet (biography.com).
