What are Jim Bob’s options? What values must Jim Bob weigh in considering his options?
Jim Bob has the choice of giving his “modified” paper to Buffy and hoping he doesn’t get caught, helping her with ideas but not the exact ones from his paper, or letting Buffy try and finish it herself. Jim Bob must realize that by giving Buffy his modified paper he has a high risk of getting in trouble with Professor Snidely, or even his superior. He must also weigh the value that if he doesn’t let her use his paper there is a possibility that Buffy may get mad, and not be his friend anymore.

4. What are the possible consequences of EACH of Buffy’s options for (1) herself, (2) Jim Bob, and (3) Professor Snidely?
Buffy has the options of taking Jim Bob’s modified paper, or writing an original one. The consequences for herself may be that she has to live with the fear that she may be caught, and get in trouble, and that she wasn’t a hundred percent truthful in her paper. With doing an original paper she may not do well enough to get a passing grade on the paper and fail the class. The consequences for Jim Bob is that Buffy may get caught and get him in trouble. If Buffy takes Jim Bob’s paper she is putting him at risk of getting caught cheating, if that does happen she may lose a friend. Buffy is also risking the trust Professor Snidely has in her, and has he possibility of Professor Snidely catching the cheating and alerting high authorities with the problem. Over all Buffy can lie
