For my fieldwork I interned a woman named Jill Spivack, who is a LCSW, a licensed psychotherapist and pediatric sleep consultant. She co-founded the company Sleepy Planet Parenting, in Los Angeles, which was created to help parents with the early stages of child-hood development in her private practice or in group therapy sessions. Before going into this I had no idea how hard it was to be a parent. Growing up my parents have always seemed like they had everything under control. I looked at them as perfect and people who could do no wrong, especially my mom. My mom is someone whose personality is very A type and she consequently she always seems to be on top of things.
