At seven years old, little minds still developing, bodies still growing. We understand very little of the real world, there are no worries, no responsibilities. There is very little choice, at this age, feeling relieved that we can choose our own movie before bedtime. Browsing through the movie selection we know the different types of movies, Family, Comedy, Disney and Horror. Ronald Defeo, the oldest son in the Defeo family, made a frantic entrance into a nearby bar. “You have to help me! I think my mother and father have been shot!” A group went to investigate, his parents were indeed dead. Police searched the house and found the rest of his family face down in their beds, shot and killed.
Under protective custody, he was interviewed about the murders. He explained that it was a hitman, he even gave a name. His story didn’t fall through, when the alleged hitman had an alibi, Ronald confessed to all six murders. Claiming that he heard voice plotting against him, the insanity plea was supported. Then it came to light that he was a heroin and LSD user, he was sentenced to six consecutive life sentences.
