For our assignment, we decided to interview Jignesh B. Patel. Mr. Patel is the founder of the Passero’s Pizza restaurant who has gained excellent business skills in last few years. Mr. Patel also owns other hospitality businesses in Chicago and few of are out of town. Passero’s store formed in July 17th, 2008 and located in 5328 main street, Lisle IL, 60532. Mr. Patel is the only one owner of this restaurant. The restaurant has 20 to 25 employees working in varies areas such as cooks, cashier, deliverer and supervisor. As we interviewed Mr. Patel he said the restaurant never had any problem in profit because of the area where it is located and nowadays, pizza has taken major part in people life.
Secondly, Mr. Patel said they consistently face difficulty in market because all fixed cost such as rent and administrative salaries did not vary with sales volume. Every restaurant has a competitive situation with other restaurants where either they fall behind or they become a success. In this case, effortlessly, Mr. Patel has used marketing skills to become a success. One of the skills that Mr. Patel uses is technology where customer can order online and receives order at home by delivery or pick up themselves. He started to regularly advertise and offer promotion to increase in sales.

In this case, Mr. Patel said that management and startup funds are the two major reasons of their successful business. As a management, they have trained every employee with ethic and honesty, policy, goals and commitments. In this case, employees were trained to stick to their goal for their job, work hard, and inspire others with work ethics. Also with the startup Mr. Patel said, he informed each staff member that their job skills is important in market and educated them about how the product is the key to the restaurant’s success.
