Going out clubbing or to a bar has been a part of the American culture for many years and advertisements for clubs / bar have evolved drastically. In this advertisement that I have created we see a very high end club with a male and female model in it asking if “we want to come party with him and her”. Notice the male is shirtless showing off his aesthetic body in this advertisement and the female is barley clothed showing off some distinct features as well. Clubs now a days pay models to come to the club so they can take pictures of them at the club and hand out flyers with the model on them in their club. In this advertisement I used two of Jib Fowls psychological appeals he talks about in Advertising’s 15 Basic Appeals. The three main appeals …show more content…
The flyers would be handed out by one of our representatives at exclusive social events. The cards could be handout at frat parties, concerts, and very big raves like ultra. For social media we could make an Instagram, twitter, Facebook, and website. Then pay people to give us a shout out on social media to draw traffic to our social media pages. The intent for this advertisement was to persuade people to come to our high end club and show them the time of their life. Almost everyone wants to live the wealthy lifestyle and we provide that. The modern and sophisticated look to our club is supposed to influence people to want to be here and make unforgettable memories. To elaborate, the three psychological appeals I used in this advertisement are sexual appeal, need for affiliation, and need for aesthetic sensation. We used sexual appeal because it’s the number one attention grabber for advertisement. The sexual appeal is shown by the male and female. Now, need for affiliation is shown by the text saying “Come party with us”. They hope you are looking for friendship the male and female model in this advertisement. The obvious appeal is the need for aesthetic sensation. The male and female have a great physique and Jib Fowls states that “beauty attracts us”.
