Screams could be heard throughout the small house. The wails of a woman having a hard child-birth.

"FUCK! Make the fucking pain stop already!" A young woman with bright, long read hair screamed. She was a very small woman, never having the curves other women had. Her name was Jhona. She was a fire mage. Although not a very good one.

"It will be alright dear. You will pull through." Another person told the woman. This one was a young man, a few years older than the woman. He had black hair, a rather average build, and was rather unremarkable. His name was Sebastian.

"FUCKING KILL THE DEMON! DID YOU NOT HEAR ME?" Sebastion yelled at the maid. With tears in her eyes, the young girl quickly nodded and ran away. After half an hour, the hunting hounds were chewing on something small, pink and fleshy. Ripping it to shreds in a matter of seconds. It was not even identifiable after the first few times it was ripped apart.

The screams could be heard all through the small house. No one spoke. The only other sound was the crying of a young maid.

Meanwhile, the beast-master trudged through the waist-deep snow with a small bundle in his arms. The cries of a baby coming from it. "I don't like doing that to the pups, but a human is more valuable than a runt of the litter. Little Diablo eh? Ya gotta grow up strong, ya hear?" The elderly beast-master told the bundle. An old hound panting at his side.

From there, Diablo was passed from hand to hand, person to beastman, beastman to knight, knight to thief, then, finally, thief to orphan mother.
