Kennedy, a presidential candidate as well as brother of the president John F. Kennedy, let his empathy shine through the shadow of the great Martin Luther King Jr.’s death. He drew the crowd together by empathizing with the death of his older brother, John F. Kennedy. While JFK was in Dallas, he was killed. This event happened a few years before the death of MLK.
