Did you know that JFK was assassinated by a former Marine Corps member? This man is Lee Harvey Oswald. The assassination of John F. Kennedy was an important part of our country’s history. Lee Harvey Oswald was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in oct. 18 1939 (Lee Harvey Oswald). His dad died two months before Lee was born. Before Lee assassinated JFK, he had a life. Lee joined the US Marine Corps in 1956 (Lee Harvey Oswald). He had a love for the Soviet Union and eventually moved there. When he was in his teens Lee tried to shoot ex-general Edwin A. Walker, but he missed. He used the same gun to assassinate JFK(Lee Harvey Oswald). He fell in love with a woman when he was in the Soviet Union. Her name was Marina Prusakova. He died November 24, 1963. Casino owner Jack Ruby lashed out in anger and shot Lee just below the heart.
On the day of the assassination JFK was going to go to the senate ladies luncheon to speak. The assassination took place in Dealey Plaza, Texas. He was with his wife and governor Connally, and his wife, Nellie. They were being escorted by the secret service.
The first shot entered in the upper back and the bullet exited right by his esophagus. The second shot was the fatal one. The bullet hit him in the back of the head and his brains splattered all over the windshield (November 22, 1963). Governor Connally was also shot by Lee. The bullet entered his lower back and exited under his right nipple.
The assassination occurred November 22, 1963. It was 12:30 p.m. when JFK was assassinated. He was declared dead at 1:00 p.m. in Parkland Memorial Hospital (November 22, 1963).
The mafia is one of the leading conspiracy theories around many assassinations. The man who killed Lee Harvey Oswald was Jack Ruby. He was a casino owner and was tied to the mafia. One possible theory around Lee Harvey Oswald death was Jack Ruby wanted him dead so that the FBI couldn’t interrogate him. The Warren Commission dropped the mafia off the list
