It was not much after noon on an exciting November day. November 22, 1963 to be exact. Our great president, John F. Kennedy, rode down Dealey Plaza in downtown Dallas, Texas when it happened. Endless crowds of thousands clapped and smiled as President Kennedy peacefully wove. Then, the assassination happened. Three gunshots fired into the air and could be heard over all the cheers. Everyone went silent. As I looked back at the car holding our president, first lady, and governor, I saw a lifeless body of JFK. He was bleeding out of his mouth and neck after being shot with two bullets. The other bullet connected too, but not with the president. Governor Connally was hit right in the chest.
