Jeez-o-whiz Rodney Hood.

The Pistons controlled the game from early, and this would easily have been a double digit win if not for one Rodney Hood. Hood scored 14 second half points, including a three point shot with 6 seconds remaining to pull the game within one point.

Reggie Jackson was able to hit a pair of free throws and the Pistons defense managed to avoid fluke shots that have been a plague so far this season. And the pulled off the win.

The Pistons controlled the game from early, but the Jazz are too talented to be walked over. Gordon Hayward bounced back from a rough start to help keep his team in it, finishing with 22 points.
