Eleven Million People were killed during the holocaust, six million of them were Jewish, and one million were children! There were about six major death camps that consist of the same ideas. This means they killed and did many things the exact same thing as each other. This event will change the future for many people in Germany especially Jews, forever!
To start off, how would the nazi soldiers kill the Jews and many other people at these camps? One of the main uses was the gas chambers. “ The use of gas chambers was the most common method of mass murdering for Jews in extermination camps.” (“About Us”) A second way was, gassing trucks! “ The Chemno gassing trucks were used on Jews, after being driven into the exhaust fumes…” (1942,”Auschwitz”) Finally, they would use a method called, “mass shooting.” “This is when the Jews would line up in rows of 6 or 7 and the soldiers would shoot one at a time.” (“About Us”) “While it is impossible to ascertain the exact number of jewish victims, statistics say that the total was over 5,830,000.
