These two accounts of Jesus walking on water in Mark and Matthew both include the general scenario of Jesus performing this miracle in front of the disciples. In the accounts written by Mark and Matthew, there are many similarities and differences, but the most significant distinction between the two texts is the addition of the dialogue between Peter and Jesus in Matthew’s account.
