Jesus Nature Research Paper

There is plenty of evidence in the Bible of Jesus' nature as both fully human and fully divine. As mentioned in the previous paragraph, Jesus is confirmed to be human because of his display of human emotions, his human birth and death and also his human needs and form. Jesus is confirmed to be divine because of his title of Lord and the fact that he is the son of God. His conception within the Virgin Mary also confirmed his divinity. The Nicene Creed also mentions Jesus as the son of God and as Lord, confirming his divinity. It also tells us how the "Son of God came down to earth and was made man". The incarnation is so important because it shapes the character of Jesus into something really helps Catholics. Jesus nature of design essentials of the Christian faith because it means he is able to save Catholics. His divine nature is what allows Jesus to forgive us our sins and allow us into heaven after death. His divine nature also gives authority to his teachings. The teachings that Jesus has given us in the Bible are confirmed through the fact that Jesus is truly the son of God. His teachings gain the authority of a divine and supreme being. Catholics are more likely to follow the teachings of Jesus when they know that they are truly the beliefs of God and are truly what God wants us to do. Faith in Jesus' divine nature is what allows Catholics this faith in his teachings. Jesus' human nature is also essential to the Catholic belief system when Catholics realise that Jesus was a human being just like them. They are inspired to follow his example in leading a moral and good life. Catholics are told that they should aim to live like Jesus in every aspect of their life. Jesus set the example with a life free of sin, where he helped many people and followed the commandments of God. Living like Jesus is the way to live our
