Throughout the timeline of Christianity, there have been many credited models and teachers that have positively represented God. Yet, there have always been certain aspects that have qualitatively separated and clearly defined Jesus from previous teachers and thinkers (Mcgrath, 58). Since sin plagued the world, which allowed evil to be present and cause an unfavorable distance from God’s love, no one but God himself was going to be able to lift the shackles that sin had on the world. Under theses antagonistic circumstances, God had to come to earth as a human being to free us from sin but more importantly it would indefinitely illustrate God’s love towards humanity. Through the holy spirit, God descended to Earth and was born by the Virgin Mary. But how then does God defeat sin when it maintained such a firm grip on humanity? The answer was using sins own weapon, death. Voluntarily giving his life to liberate us from sin, Jesus endured public humiliation, torture and criticism that ultimately lead to the most pivotal moment in the Christian belief, his crucifixion on the
