Matthew 14:13-21
Summary:
Jesus landed and when people found that out, crowds of people travelled on foot to meet him. When Jesus landed he saw the crowds, he had compassion and healed the sick. After Jesus healed the sick a disciple told Jesus to send the crowds away so they can eat. Jesus didn’t make them leave and asked the disciples to give food but they didn’t have any to give to the crowds but a boy came up to Jesus and gave him 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish. Jesus took the food, gave thanks then broke the loaves and fish and told the disciples to hand it out. Everyone was satisfied with the food and then the disciples took twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 5,000 men ate besides women and children.

“Jesus feeds the 5000” is a sermon in the book of Matthew. “Jesus feeds the 5000” is a sermon because it is a long serious speech with religious truth and even though it is more of a story it still shows religious truth.
There are many different situations in our present time that seem roughly the same scenario as "Jesus feeds the 5000". For me, during school if I need guidance with a question I can ask the teacher for guidance and the teacher will give me a hint which I can use to solve the question, essentially using a hint to solve the entire question but if I had not asked the teacher in the first place I could not solve the question. This is like “Jesus feeds the 5000” because Jesus ends up feeding 5000 people but he could not have fed them unless he was given those 5 loaves and 2 fish by the boy, which he turned into a greater quantity of
