Although Jesus was interested in the behavior of people, I don 't believe Jesus was a behaviorist, and neither was Paul, both of them were more interested in the heart, Jesus was more interested in the motives than the behavior, and that was evident throughout Jesus ' ministry. In John 4, the Bible tell us about Jesus ' encounter with the Samaritan woman at the well. Although Jesus did talk about some of her behavior regarding her husbands, Jesus was doing this to encounter her in a deeper level.
