Jesus of Nazareth, king of Israel. Muhammad Ali, prophet of Islam. Jesus, main teacher of the Christianity religion, and prophet Muhammad, main teacher of the Islamic religion. Different people that are looked upon as having similar identities. Some people may argue that Jesus and Muhammad were very similar, worshipping just one God, having worldwide influence, and being leaders who attracted multitudes while speaking the prophecy; however, despite the few similarities, I believe that Jesus and Muhammad were two completely different people. The minimum similarities do not compare to the major differences that these two people had. Jesus and Muhammad spoke different messages, confronted situations differently, and ended their lives differently.

People had a choice to follow him or not, with no bad consequences whatever the choice had been. In Mark 8 Jesus said to the people, that whoever wished to follow him could do so, (Reader 287). Muhammad, on the other hand, demanded for people to worship no one else but Allah. If someone decided not to follow Allah, Muhammad stated that they had a disease in their hearts. Muhammad also stated that Allah would punish people who decided not to follow him. "They (the people) seek to deceive only themselves and they perceive not. In their hearts is a disease, so Allah increased their disease, and for them is a painful chastisement because they lie," (Reader 411). With this in mind, people who argue that Jesus and Muhammad both worship the one true God do not see the controversy in that claim. If Muhammad and Jesus were talking about the same God, then it would either have to be that God is love, like Jesus said, or that God punished by cursing you with diseases, like Muhammad implied. Jesus knew that he was going to be persecuted and captured. The day of the crucifixion he had told Peter, his disciple, some of the things that were going to happen prior to the crucifixion. It was nine o 'clock in the morning when Jesus was crucified, (Reader 300). He was wrapped in cloth and put in a tomb that was made out of rock. There was a huge stone rolled over as a door to protect the tomb. There was evidence that the body was laid in the tomb, Mary Magdalene, Mary, and Jose all saw where the body was laid before the stone was rolled over. Three days after being crucified, Mary Magdalene, mother of Jesus, Mary, and Salome, went to go and try to anoint him. As they approached the tomb they saw that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb. When they looked inside the tomb, the body of Jesus was not there anymore, only the cloth where he was wrapped in. Jesus appeared to them saying that he will be back soon, and he does not leave them empty handed but he left the holy spirit. On the contrary, Muhammad did not resurrect from the dead, he stayed
