Jesus was an honorable and noble man that gave up his life for our sins. His sacrifice paved the way so that we could live a better life in this cruel and spiritual world. When Jesus Heals a Demoniac is one of the memorable and horrific escapades that Jesus did with his disciples Mark, Luke, and Mathew. All of his disciples have their own depictions of what accorded that day. Here are some d differences and similarities these disciples gave about what Jesus did on that memorable day.
All the stories are similar in the fact that they all opened up when Jesus came to the city of Gerasenes and when he stepped from the boat after his journey.
” He lived among the tombs; and no one could restrain him anymore, even with a chain; for he had often been restrained with shackles and chains, but the chains he wrenched apart, and the shackles he broke in pieces; and no one had the strength to subdue him.” Mark 5.3-4
In the the next few scenes that when things took a twist. In the Mark version there’s a man waiting on him from the tombs with a real dark feeling about him. The man had been bitter for so long that the evil in side was to much for him to bare anymore. In Mathews version Two demoniacs come out of the tomb to meet Jesus as he got out the ship.
“Two demoniacs coming out of the tombs met him. They were very fierce that no one could pass that way.” (Matthew 8:28)
