Jessie J recently won Singer, China’s equivalent of The X Factor. Whereas many TV singing competitions revolve around discovering unknown talent, Singer puts a unique spin on the traditional format by allowing famous singers to compete instead.

Jessie J started her career in entertainment at age 11 on the West End theater production of Whistle Down the Wind. However, she soon turned to singing, ultimately signing with Universal Republic.
She soon came to international attention with the success of her debut single Do It Like a Dude, which was released in November 2010. Her debut album Who You Are was soon released on February 25, 2011 to commercial success and produced several of hit singles like Price Tag and Nobody’s Perfect. In 2012, she garnered more international attention after performing at the Diamond Jubilee Concert for Queen Elizabeth II and at the Closing Ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics.
