Jerry Maguire Jerry Maguire is a movie about a sports agent, named Jerry Maguire, who one night questions his purpose and what’s wrong with his life. He then writes all of his thoughts into a mission statement for his company. However his bosses don’t like his mission statement so they fire him. After getting fired he decides to starts his own agency to test his mission statement with the only one client he has left. The lessons I can take away from Jerry Maguire in regards to running a small business is that you need to be passionate about your work. One big lesson I saw in the movie was that Jerry was a social entrepreneur. After he started his own agency he was focused on helping his client more than helping
