Oswald sends them to deliver a package to Mable Billingsly with no explanation. The next few days they deliver different items to different people. They don’t know why they have to deliver things, but they just do the work. A few weeks later, they go to Atlantic City to go to Jeremy's aunt's art show, when they get there they aren't allowed into the casino, so they get to go out onto the boardwalk and explore. They find the woman who gave Jeremy's dad, his fortune and find out it was just a scam to get money. Now I think that the death of Jeremy’s dad was an accident. At the talent show, Lizzy announces she can’t do the hula hoop act, so Jeremy has to put on a grass skirt and hula hoop. They came in second place! I thought it was a great opportunity for Jeremy to take a risk and step out of his comfort zone. He also found out he was really good at hula hooping. They found three keys that fit and they don’t know where the last key is, or it seems. On Jeremy’s birthday, Lizzy gives him a box with the last key at a lake where Jeremy and his dad used to fish, and apparently Lizzy knew about the fourth key all along. After, Jeremy goes over to Mr. Oswald’s place and asks him if he knew that the last key was in the suitcase. He nodded, and Jeremy was confused. How? Mr. Oswald explained that he was friends with his dad from long ago and asked him to do all this. “He did it to give you an adventure. To introduce you to people and experiences you’d never have otherwise. To get you to start thinking about life before hearing what he had to say on the subject. To work for it a little.” I think it was quite an adventure and it was great for Jeremy. I really liked the plot twist in the end, like how Mr. Oswald and other many people were behind on this. “It’s amazing how people will play along for a good cause.” I think the big idea is ‘live life to the fullest’. This book really made me think, why am I here? Jeremy finds the meaning of life isn't a textbook answer. What life means, depends on how you see it.
