This is because people also tend to forget that animals do have at least basic human feelings and disregard their emotions. They think of them as just food or show and tell. Many animals become so distressed when cooped up into small areas. According to an article “Hooked on a Myth” by Victoria Braithwaite it says, “Of course, this doesn’t mean that we necessarily must change our behavior”(16). Although they are talking about fish having feelings and can feel physical pain, this can be applied to all animals as well. Of course we can’t just stop selling animal products but we can help ease the pain of animals that we consume or use for testing. We can make it less inhumane, we can find a way to help them out. Like in your article, “In Germany, the government is encouraging pig farmers to give each pic 20 seconds of human contact each day and to provide them with toys to prevent them from fighting,”(5). When doing that we can provide information on how it affects them and the quality of their well being. Then compare it to the ones that don’t get the same care. Once doing so release it to the public and so people can know what’s really going on. Doing so I feel like would help people understand more about what's going
