REPORTER: The reporter/paternal grandmother (Mrs. Johnson) called with concerns for the victims, Daysha, Jasmine, and Jemerial. According to the reporter, the house is roach infested. There are roaches and maggots in the sink, roaches in the microwave and refrigerator, and mold, roaches, and dishes piled up in the garage. A couple of months ago, the reporter saw Jasmine, and she had a rash on her wrist and it looked like someone had burned half of her wrist off (around her fingers). Also, the child (Jasmine) had a rash on the side of her stomach. Two months ago, Turkesiah (mother) took the child to the doctor and she was seen by Dr. Jennifer Grayson (Pediatrician). Jemerial was listed as victim because he’s in the home sometimes, but the reporter felt that he doesn’t have to deal with issues because he’s not there all the time. Jemerial (15 years old) is sexually active and cursing Turkesiah out. The reporter said Turkesiah knows he’s sexually active because she’s buying the child condoms. The reporter said Jemerial is telling Jasmine and Daysha what he’s doing, and the reporter asked them “has never tried to touch them”, and they said no. According to the reporter, the children are not getting enough to eat; there is no food in the home. The reporter said Turkesiah receives food stamps, but she keeps 100 and sells the rest to pay her bills. The reporter gave Daysha a prepaid card for snacks, and she puts money on it often for them to purchase pizza. Turkesiah’s boyfriend (Ricky) is “abusive” towards Turkesiah around the children. The reporter said Ricky threatened to kill all of them. A few weeks ago, he said “one of these days he was going to kill all of them”.
