She said she is trying to get more recognition for her site and she would like to help the animals get adopted. I thank her for thinking of the animals and explained that we are very blessed to have the resources to promote and feature our sanctuary animals more so than many small groups. Oftentimes, small rescues groups are in dire need and looking for people to help them promote their animals and could really benefit from the support her project may be able to offer. Also, I explained that she might get more recognition by working with a grassroots organization.
• Susan Devonshire contacted us because she wanted to know if we have any plans to put a facility in Florida. I let her know that I am not aware of any plans and sent her info about our NMHP partners.
• Michelle Cohen is terminally ill and her daughter wants a dog. The problem is, she is allergic to dogs and her immune system is compromised. She wanted to know if we have any hypoallergenic puppies, or if we know where she can get one. I explained that some breeders claim to sell "hypoallergenic" dogs but, unfortunately, there is no such thing. I also shared Dr. Frank’s article on this
