Witnessing firsthand the struggle of immigrants wanting to live the American dream suffering from domestic violence herself Dolores Janney Rivera Saavedra artistically known as “Jenni Rivera” or “La Diva De La Banda”. Though known for her extraordinary talent jenni changed the way the way society looks at the Banda/norteno/corrido genre by starting from the bottom and making her way to the top. Dominating her musical careers and in her music speaking for the women who do not have a voice, telling about her struggles to be able to get to the top and how anyone can overcome these same struggles as well. Overcoming her struggles made her the unbreakable women everyone knows that falls and gets up every single time.
