Basic Facts about Jeffrey Dahmer

The serial killer that I have chosen is Jeffrey Dahmer. Jeffrey was thirty four when he died in Columbia Correctional Institution in 1994. He was born in Milwaukee, a city in the state of Wisconsin. Jeffrey was a really happy boy until the age of six when he had to get a surgery for double hernia. Following Surgery which coincided with the birth of his brother, Jeffrey became more isolated and was lacking self confidence. Also when Jeff's dad found a good job in Ohio he moved away and his insecurities deepened. As a teenager he was always disengaged and friendless. Dahmer had a Father (Lionel Dahmer), Mother (Joyce Dahmer), and a Brother (David Dahmer). His Parents were worried about him doing weird things like experimenting with dead animals; decapitating rodents, bleaching chicken bones with acid, nailing a dog’s carcass to a tree and mounting its head on a stake, but they figured it was just a boy thing.

He pick up a hitchhiker, 19-year-old Steven Hicks. Jeffrey then told Steven to come to my dad's house and they drank a lot and engaged in sex, but when Steven wanted to leave Jeffrey hit him so hard on the head with a barbell he killed him. Jeffrey killed and raped seventeen people. All the murders and rapes took place in Ohio, Wisconsin. All of Dahmer’s killings consisted strangulation - cutting their throats and drugging them. Jeff always raped his victims before he would kill them and indulge in them. He was into necrophilia. Dahmer also liked to take pictures of them in weird poses while they are dead knocked out and nude. Jeffrey’s victims ranged anywhere from fourteen to thirty one. More than half of Jeff’s victims were African American men and he also always kept limbs and pieces of people's bodies as his souvenir. He also liked to eat them once in
