The Milwaukee Cannibal or The Milwaukee Monster are names for the man who terrorized Milwaukee from 1978 to 1991. He was a serial killer that raped, murdered, and dismembered 17 men and boys. Who is this mad man you ask. This man was Jeffrey Dahmer, convicted serial killer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He eventually turned into a cannibal, eating some of his victims. This was when Dahmer started doing his “drilling technique”. Dahmer would drill holes into the victims head and inject hydrochloric acid into the brain. He would also use boiling water. He dismembered the bodies of all eight victims and kept various body parts. Dahmer kept several skulls and hearts. He had even placed three torsos in a 57 gallon drum.
Dahmer was arrested on July 22, 1991 when one of his victims escaped. Tracy Edwards escaped from Dahmer’s apartment and notified two police officers. The officers and Edwards returned to Dahmer’s apartment where the officers found human remains. Dahmer was arrested and after a detailed search of the apartment authorities found four severed heads, seven skulls, two human hearts, a bag of human organs, two entire skeletons, a pair of severed hands, and three dismembered torsos dissolving in an acid solution inside a 57 gallon drum. 74 polaroid pictures were also found detailing the dismemberment of Dahmer’s

He was placed in solitary confinement for his own safety his first year in prison. After his first year he was transferred to a less secure unit. Dahmer was baptized by Roy Ratcliff while in prison. On November 28, 1994 Dahmer left his cell for his assigned work detail. Fellow inmates Jesse Anderson and Christopher Scarver went with Dahmer. They were left unsupervised for 20 minutes in the gym showers. Dahmer was discovered on the floor with severe head and facial wounds. He was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead one hour later. Jesse Anderson was also beaten and died from his wounds. Scarver had beaten them with a 20 inch metal bar. Scarver was already serving life in prison and received two more terms of life in prison for the murder of Dahmer and
