Jeffery Dahmer’s parents never give him the attention that he needed while he was living with the family. I think when he really needed them, they just ignore him, so he wasn’t getting the parenting that he was suppose too. His dad was always at work trying to provide for his family while Joyce the mother stayed home all day. The mother should have provided some kind of guidance to her son Jeffery Dahmer, the father should have tried to involved himself after he was back from work. The parents were the backbone of his life as Jeff Dahmer was going up but it didn’t give Jeff Dahmer. Therefore, Jeffery Dahmer parents were always arguing about something while Jeff was present.

After many years of arguing, the parent’s final had to divorce and go their own ways,
Joyce was finalized the divorce while Lionel stayed in a nearby motel. Joyce was leaving back to Wisconsin where her family was from, she only took her younger son Dave Dahmer. Jeffery was told to stay with his dad, by this time, Jeffery really need someone to talk to, about his problems. His dad had moved out, his friends had written him off, high school, where at least he was surrounded by people, was ending, and now even his own mother was leaving him behind.
(Derf Backderf page 165). I think that they had a lot to bear in this tragedy, just the way they raise Jeffery Dahmer.
They should have taken a lot more action with him, by watch him, talking to him, and giving him more guidance as a parent. They were too busy with their problems they forgot about their son.
The book “My Friend Dahmer” talks about how Jeffery Dahmer was so lonely, and had a drinking problem in his junior year and senior year in high school. That is when he needs his family the most, he had uncontrollable voices and urges he need to talk to someone with like people that were the closest to him his

In the Communist Manifesto, Karl Marx states, “The bourgeoisie has torn away from the family its sentimental veil, and has reduced the family relation to a mere money relation.” In other words, one can say love has been stripped away from intimate relationships, and has been turned into business matters only. One can find themselves under the impression that society has impacted their lives so much that they have forgotten how to live their own everyday life. Based off of evidence from novels such as The Lover’s Dictionary by David Levithan, This is How You Lose Her by Junot Díaz, and Another Bullshit Night in Suck City by Nick Flynn, this quote can be disagreed upon to believe that love is in existence in relationships and society does not…

Philosophers have debated what the meaning of life is; people have also sought equality for centuries. In Kafka’s works, “In the Penal Colony” and “The Metamorphosis”, there is an emphasis on unquestionably following society’s rules resulting in flaws which accompany doing so; mainly injustice resulting from superior authority and the issue of existentialism which arises from being rejected from society, respectively. Kafka demonstrates this through an allegory of religion and the unfulfilled life of an ordinary low-class worker. In the Penal Colony, the Old Commandant represents God.…
