Jefferson County Survey Essay

Every year for the last 18 year, The Center for Community Studies at Jefferson Community College has presented a survey to the adults who live in Jefferson County. The purpose of the survey is to get an idea on how life is perceived on a number of topics, by these adult individuals living within these communities. A similar survey is conducted in the nearby counties St. Lawrence County and Lewis County. A Presentation of Results is released after the Advisory Board of the Center for Community Studies and Student Associates who worked on this project have completed their findings; Implementing them into a document that can be reviewed by anyone either by contacting the center by mail, email, or telephone.
Jefferson County is one of great diversity. People from many walks of life and cultures live here due to the military. However, many venture to this part of the United States because of the outdoor life as well. Providing this survey is helpful in giving a detailed outlook on life in many categories, such as; Entertainment, Cost of living,

While the professionals of the Center for Community Studies at Jefferson Community are the ones who really dictate the outcomes of which questions will be used, that procedures are followed to professional standards, and that the information obtained is analyzed and presented as legally and accurately as it should be. Data obtained each year for the benefits of the Jefferson County community is interesting, and beneficial for not only those who live here, but for those who visit here, and those who may come here for military assignment. The information the Eighteenth Annual Jefferson County Survey of the Community provides a confident statement that they are 95% confident that the Jefferson County residents in New York approve of the quality of life with a +/-4.3% margin of
