“Born in the heat of battle, the Go-Anywhere, Do-Anything Jeep.” The first Jeep slogan that came out when Jeeps were first introduced to consumer ownership. This slogan describes the versatility of Jeeps and how they are the type of vehicle that will do anything you want it to and will go anywhere you want it to (Jeep). Jeeps have been around for over 50 years. They are the car that adventurers typically drive if they want to have fun. There are quite a few types of Jeeps nowadays, but the very first one was built in the early 1940’s during war because the Army wanted a fast, lightweight, all-terrain reconnaissance vehicle (Fetherston, par. 3). Over the past few years they have come out with several new styles and models of Jeeps but they always stick to their classics and are constantly improving on how to make the classic, iconic, Jeeps better and more appealing to the consumers that love them so much. However, the styles of some Jeeps are different than others, such as the Jeep Wrangler Sport and the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sport is authentic and unique, with capabilities that keep getting enhanced to fit this lifestyle. The car has exposed hinges on the removable doors and a windshield that flips down. The Wrangler uses a smooth and fancy Chrysler Pentastar 3.6-liter V6, and a 5-speed automatic transmission designed by Mercedes-Benz with an available 6-speed manual. The Pentastar engines were engineered for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram vehicles. The engine the Jeep Wrangler Sport makes 285 horsepower with 260 pound-feet torque, making a two-door Wrangler go 60 miles per hour in 7.7 seconds. A …show more content…
The Wrangler Sport offers more off road capabilities than the Grand Cherokee does, it is capable of going through water, over large rocks and boulders, through sand, mud, dirt, even snow. It is also more appealing to teenage boys and young adult males for the off road capabilities but also because the Wrangler Sport is one of the few Jeeps that can be almost completely customized to the buyers wishes, wants, and desires. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is the more family oriented vehicle that Jeep makes. Families are more inclined to buy the Grand Cherokee because it has the seating that the Wrangler Sport does not. The Grand Cherokee, again, offers 2-row seating being able to seat up to five people with three in the backseat. The Grand Cherokee also has more ample storage space than the Wrangler sport does, also making it more family friendly and more appealing to Jeep lovers with families. The Grand Cherokee is a more environmentally friendly SUV as well, compared with the Wrangler Sport that is, it’s EcoDiesel engine compared to that of the Wrangler Sport’s engine the Pentastar as seen in many Dodges and Chrysler’s it burns more fuel and does not offer the gas mileage that the Jeep Grand Cherokee offers. A NASCAR car has 8 cylinders just like a normal car and in the each cylinder is a space where piston movement occurs. The first generation camaros came out from 1966-1981. Back in the 70’s when dirt track racing was starting to get big they would typically use camaros and novas for race cars. If some of you have seen today’s camaros from the older ones they don’t look anything alike the older ones to me i like better because of the looks they are made stronger and more durable the newer ones are made of fiberglass and plastic they would end up being crushed in a car accident although the frames from the camaro are made from aluminium so they are a lot lighter than the older ones they just don’t have that muscle…
