Jedediah Smith's Accomplishments

We are sad to report that on May 27th the great mountain man, trailblazer, explorer, and fur trapper Jedediah Smith was killed. Born on January 6th, 1799 in Bainbridge New York he was raised in Pennsylvania. He was killed scouting for water near the Cimarron River. Comanche Indians we will remember him by his great achievements and accomplishments such as: exploring Black Hills and Sioux Falls while Smith survived some impossible circumstances. He was mauled by a bear and had to tell his fellow mountain men how to stich him up. And later his whole mountain men team was ambushed by Indians and he survived with only his bible and flint knife.
