• Jeda commented, “my thoughts are that my mother does really want me because she lies about my behaviors and my family really does love me which makes me very angry.”
• Jeda informed the QP “you know when I am angry because I am crying and yelling about is making me angry.”
• Jeda reported “it takes a lot for me to calm down usually one of her family members threaten to spank her or she gets sent to her room.”
• Jeda acknowledged “I am using deep breathing and counting backwards as ways to calm down when upset at my foster mother’s house.”
• Jeda stated, “I can remind myself that I don’t want to remain in foster care” or “to just stay cool because there are people that think highly of me.”
