• Jeda reported “it takes a lot for me to calm down usually one of her family members threaten to spank her or she gets sent to her room.”
• Jeda acknowledged “I am using deep breathing and counting backwards as ways to calm down when upset at my foster mother’s house.”
• Jeda stated, “I can remind myself that I don’t want to remain in foster care” or “to just stay cool because there are people that think highly of me.”
• Jeda reflected on how she can evaluate her response by asking others if she did well responding to managing her anger and reflecting on how she responded to the situation to make it better the next time.
