Jebediah Springfield Role Model

In The Simpsons season 7 episode 16, Lisa Simpson finds out that Jebediah Springfield is a fraud. After finding this information in a confession letter, she is about to stand up and tell the entire town what she’s found, but instead she decides to keep quiet. Because of this the festivities would continue and the town could keep its leading role model Jebediah Springfield. Since she decided to hide the truth, it brought out the best in her town and kept Springfield a happy place; therefore Lisa Simpson did the right thing by hiding the truth so her town could stay a great place to live.

Jebediah Springfield is a huge role model to many in the town of Springfield, and Lisa Simpson let it stay that way by hiding the truth. People in the town
