Jeannine Burk, a Belgian Jew who was only eight months old when the Germans controlled the whole of Western Europe. Born amidst a brutal war, and the worst time for a Jew to be alive. Her siblings were Max, who was 15 years old and Augusta who was 12, she could not get out of her bed as she had osteomyelitis which was an inflammation of the bones caused by infections.
