I think that everyone should wear what makes them feel comfortable and true to their style and personality. I think it’s good to have women such as Jean Shrimpton to show that it doesn’t matter what other people say and that women shouldn’t feel the pressure to look a certain way. This image is still a considerable influence on this day as it made such a significant impact to the way women dress today and how we look at fashion. If it wasn’t for Jean Shrimpton wearing the mini skirt in 1965 the way, we dress could be very different and what we think is appropriate for clothing could be a lot stricter and have more boundaries.
