As a child, I was blessed with a skill. A skill to achieve high grades without trying. Shrouded with compliments, praise, and at times my peers surrounded me with their jealousy. As I continued to age, I slowly realized that this "skill" was a disguised curse. I say this because upon entering middle-school and high school, I had no clue how to study. I just expected the high grades to come just as they did before, but that wasn't the case. Even though my parents knew of my past scholastic standing, they understood that my uneasy grades were a result of me not knowing how to study.
